Another Big Drive
This one started in Jasper after our Mount Robson hike (HERE). We headed south, staying in the Rockies visiting stuff enroute. We crossed the border into the US and then curved over through Yellowstone before heading home. We spent a little more than a week doing this drive.

Day 1: Saturday 2009-07-25
Jasper to Canyon Hotsprings
We spent about 5 hours driving. The Icefields Parkway is normally pretty impressive, but it paled after our Mount Robson hike (HERE). Yoho, with Takakkaw Falls was awesome. Natural Bridge was also very impressive, but more of a giant whirlpool, with the whole river going down a drain. We arrived at the Canyon Hotsprings campground late and set up our tent in the dark. A good day.
Day 2: Sunday 2009-07-26
Canyon Hotsprings to Ainsworth to Crawford Bay
Again, about 5 hours of driving. But this was broken up into bite size pieces. We hit Sky Trek Adventure Park early in the morning. Then drove down along the Kootenay lakes, took several ferries and then Ainsworth Hot Springs. Natural hot water and caves to swim into!
Day 3: Monday 2009-07-27
Crawford Bay to Kalispell.
More driving.
Day 4: Tuesday 2009-07-28
Play in Kalispell and Whitefish
We took a day off to play in Kalispell. We have spent time skiing here, but had never visited in the summer.
