We have been lucky to have had several homes.
Our first place we bought shortly before we were married, and then lived in for 10 years. It was an old house, built in about 1914 in an older neighborhood in Saskatoon. We spent a lot of time doing home renovations.
Our second house was a house which we designed ourselves and then had Fraser Homes build for us. We mostly wanted to move into a neighborhood with other kids around. Silverspring met all the criteria, and we are still there today.
We also have a cabin at Emma Lake which is pretty much another home to us. It is a wonderful place to spend time.
