Day 2 – Whaleback Loop
This day hike is the main reason we came back to Yoho. It is hard and beautiful and awesome. The scenery includes: a giant rock garden, deep forest, steep switchbacks, a 360 degree lookout from Whaleback, and the awesome view from from the top of Twin Falls along with the rumble of the falls themselves.
This time we decided to do it clockwise, leaving the dramatic top of Twin Falls for later.
