Myra Canyon 2021

I had the chance to visit and bike part of the Kettle Valley Rail Trail on my way to BC for my skipper certification course. So, I added a bike and other biking gear to the stuff to bring along on the trip. Forest fires and hot days were to be the order of the day. In order to do this, I booked two nights at the Super 8 in Kelowna, expecting to arrive late on Sunday.

But, since I slept on the side of the highway after having made it to Kicking Horse, I was able to arrive much earlier than expected. And was able to bike Myra Canyon the same day. Then a night in Kelowna and do it again on Monday.

My second time out, I was better prepared. And extended the bike ride down into the Crawford Bike Trails. |Some good, hard black diamonds going downhill. And an unbikeable (?) climb up a steep stream bed to get back up to the KVR access road. I pushed the bike.
