Bryan and Donelda invited us to stay with them in one of their Palm Springs abodes. Dan and Donna also joined the party. We had a week to explore the area.

Day by Day
- Tuesday, 12 November – Fly in
- Sandy flew in from Saskatoon
- Warren drove to Orlando airport at 5 am, then flew to Palm Springs
- Sandy was waiting and we picked up the rental car
- Bryan and Donelda cooked steaks!
- Wednesday, 13 November – Dan & Donna arrive
- Warren and Donelda and Sandy went disc golfing at Hovley
- Dan and Donna arrive and we head to the Daily Grill for lunch. Excellent
- Hot tub
- Pork chops and peppercorn sauce dinner
- Thursday, 14 November – Tahquitz Canyon and Marvyn’s Magic Theatre
- Warren went disc golfing at Hovley again
- Hiked Tahquitz Canyon, after discovering that Indian Canyon was closed for the week. No problem, Tahquitz was great.
- Marvyn’s Magic Theatre. Lucy Darling was awesome. And from Prince Albert! (https://www.thelucydarling.com/)
- Friday, 15 November – Drag Brunch and Aerial Tramway
- Drag Brunch was less comedy and more strip show than we expected. Still good, even though food was dismal.
- Aerial Tramway was awesome in the wispy clouds
- Saturday, 16 November – Joshua Tree
- Weather was cool and windy, and park was quite busy
- Visited Maze loop trailhead, Quail Spring, Intersection Rock, Barker Dam loop, Petroglyphs, Cap Rock for lunch, Jumbo Rocks, Skull Rock Nature Trail and Skull Rock, Arch Rock
- Mexican dinner at Casa Luna
- Sunday, 17 November – Aviation Museum
- Quick disc golf with Dan and Donna. Soccer was in the way.
- Girls went shopping and boys went to the Aviation Museum
- Monday, 18 November – Hike Indian Canyons, then fly to Calgary
- We packed up in the morning, and then had enough time to try for Indian Canyons again
- Palm Canyon was an awesome hike. The palm trees in the canyon were amazing.
- We were just able to squeeze in a quick lunch at Daily Grill
- Drove to airport, dropped of rental car, and arrive in Calgary to snow
- Short shuttle to an airport hotel. Didn’t get there until midnight.
- Tuesday, 19 November – Fly to Saskatoon
- After 4 hours of sleep, an Uber took us to the airport.
- Boarded flight, and arrived in Saskatoon. Colder and snowier.
- Kim picked us up in the snowstorm.
