Total Solar Eclipse 2024

The Gang

Mike already lives under the path of the eclipse in Ironton. And Ben in California, agreed that this was a must-do. So, viewing it from Ironton(or near by) was an easy decision. Ben joined me in Saskatoon so that he could experience the BIG drive, which would take 2 to 3 weeks.

We were gifted with perfect weather, in spite of a borderline weather forecast. And Mike’s backyard mountain was the perfect viewing location.

More Details

The drive ended up taking 19 days, driving a total of 8,480 km.

The day-by-day summary can be seen HERE, along with photo albums for almost everything.
