These are things that don’t really fit into any of my categories…
- Aurora Borealis
- We get the chance to see some amazing northern lights. Sometimes we are just luckly, and blunder into them. Other times, I go out late at night when the odds are good, and sometimes I get lucky.
- Disc Golf
- I have been doing a foolish amount of disc golf. I find it fun, distinctly non-stressful, and really enjoy it when I make an awesome drive or putt.
- Formula 1
- I have been lucky enough to have see a bunch of F1 races live. I have watched pretty much EVERY race since 1980, but am quite willing to drop the whole thing if the governing body gets too stupid.
- Gymnastics
- I was a gymnast for many years. Competed for Berkeley (we won NCAA in 1975) and was on the Canadian National team for 10 years. Compted in about 29 international meets, including Olympics and World Championships. Sort of made me what I am.
- Mountain Biking
- For 25 years, I commuted to work on a mountain bike. This is in Saskatchewan, with its bitterly cold winters. I rode to work every single day. Always. No matter what the weather, even when temperatures were below -40.
- I still do some mountain biking on trails, and it is still a lot of fun. And we takes bikes with us on some trips.
