Kingsmere Lake

However, once we got onto the lake the water was very smooth, particularly for Kingsmere, which is a large lake and can be rough..

We paddled around the first point, past the ranger's cabin, and landed for a picnic lunch.

Sandy picked out some large rocks to take home to Saskatoon for her front yard!

 

Then it was back on the water again  for the trip home. Some of the crew took a brief siesta (notice the rocks in the canoe)

Then on the road back to Waskesiu we stopped at The Narrows.
