We woke up the next morning to driving winds and heavy rain. We had pancakes and retreated
to the tents.
At about 2:30, things calmed down, and we loaded up the canoes and paddled towards the
lake's exit. This time we saw a bull moose in the channel. We gave chase, but he was faster than
us, even swimming.
Again, rain and wind, but this time the wind was behind us and we let it blow us south. Hard to
stay warm.
The water levels were at record lows. This made camping on beaches possible. Note the tarp.
We have discovered that putting up a tarp greatly decreases the chance of rain!
In spite of the weather, Aaron and I went for our evening dip in the drizzle.
On to the next day
