Closing
In October 2004 we went to Spruce Creek for our final walk through on October 11 and closing on the 13th; delayed about 2 weeks by the series of hurricanes - which suited us fine because this entitled us to an additional pre-payment discount of over $500.
We are happy with the house, the living space it provides, and the community activities available on site and nearby.
Here is the finished house - the Porta-Potty is not permanent :-)
Joyce is happy with the kitchen view of the lake (the painter is applying a last minute coat of paint to the lanai floor)
And there was an egret stepping along the lake shore:
And so back to Virginia and selling our old house.
The furniture is moving in November, and closing on our Clifton house is in December, so no pictures yet (11/08/2004)

Stay on I-75 to exit 341 (Belleview Exit) - CR 484. Travel east on CR 484 approximately 10 miles into Belleview. At the intersection of CR 484 and Hwy 441, turn right. Stay on Hwy 441 approximately 3 ½ miles. Spruce Creek Country Club will be on the left side of the highway.
